Some of you know that in Dec. 2009 I had a heart attack. I also battle bouts of anxiety, panic attacks and depression since having my heart attack.

Today I was awakened to a horrible dizzying sickness feeling. I had my wife check my bp and was extremely low. I had also had this weird sensation last Friday. After coming to the hospital it seems I am having an issue with my heart rate. And possibly other issues. Tomorrow I will be having a heart cathe. They are also awaiting some results from testing today. Cat scans of head from dizzy spells and what not.

So if you could I would appreciate your prayers.

James,

You'll be in good and Gods hands tomorrow. This will be the beginning of your healing.
I have been there and have 3 stints in my heart and 12 years later am doing fine.

Our prayers are with you.

G'day mate,

I do recall your heart attack in 2009, things tend to get a little out of weck after such event, and now, you many need a "service" on your engine again, fortunately, medicine is evolving every day and procedures are becoming less intrusive and more efficient however, one thing will never change and that is, the stress and fear one has to endure, in the process...!

You will be OK, they many need to "change the oil" and maybe put a new filter but, you will come out, good as new for some more time to come, be positive, that is the only thing only you can do for yourself...!

Best of luck...!

PS: One would think that, I'm an auto-mechanic, from the way I described things, in fact I'm not but I tend to look for everyday examples that describe best what I'm trying to say, without being disrespectful, I hope I done that...!

Cheers
George

James,
Wishing you the best. As a secular man, I will keep you in my thoughts, and will send as much positivity your way that I can. Medicine has advanced to amazing levels, the good thing is that the doctors have time to evaluate your condition and develop a plan to correct it.

Prayers & good thought's are on the way. I had an emergency triple bypass 8 years ago. I understand the feelings. Wish you good speed!

James,
Will keep my fingers crossed for you... know what you're going through.... my wife just had open heart surgery in April to correct a valve problem - they replaced her Mitral valve - and to correct a problem with atrial fibrillation which hasn't worked so far... her heart rate is much too high... it is coming down, but very slowly and the doc said if it didn't drop like he wanted he would recommend a pacemaker.

I'm impressed with the strides medicine has made in heart care and know you'll come through fine... keep the faith and think positive.

James You pray to God and ask that he takes total control over your life, praise him and let him take control. Your total Faith in God will bring you through this time. I have just gone through 3 weeks of health issues, and this morning I got a call that a spot that they took a biopsy had come back benign and it had shrunk by 1/4" before the biopsy. Have Faith and you will come through this storm. Praise God

James...Our prayers go out to you!!! I had my first heart attack in 1987, numerous angioplastys, etc. and thought everything A-OK until I had a triple bi-pass in 2007 when I had unexpected 'problem'...widow maker, etc. So far, everything A-OK, and feeling just fine! The main thing you have to consider is to FOLLOW all Doctor's orders, medications, etc. ...They do know what's best no matter what you might feel...doesn't mean you can't be pro-active, but check things out and TALK to your doctors!!! I had an issue a couple years ago when I was told my heart was giving out, only 25% effective and would need a heart transplant within a couple of years. Luckily, my cardiologist found a new medication that has, so far, prevented that and I'm back up to 40% effective... Soooo, DON'T give up...keep checking and talking to your doctor, follow their directions to a 'T' and dont' forget your and other's prayers! Always remember your family and all their efforts and prayers too... Positive attitude no matter what!!!
Our prayers to you and your family!!!!

Thanks all for the prayers and good thoughts. Looks like I will be homeward bound tomorrow.
I will be undergoing quite a few test over the next 2 weeks. They are adjusting my meds and possibly be
pacemaker.

I also have a nasty h.pylori infection. I will be going thru a few weeks of some massive amounts of
antibiotics. That's why the delay on any firm commitment on steps for a direct treatment. They want to make sure the h.pylori isn't causing a heart issue.

They stopped some of the heart meds I was on due to my heart rate dropping so low.

I will keep updating.

Again thanks to all for the support.

Sorry I'm slow on the uptake. Remember you are in the hands of the great Physician. Then also I pray you are getting competent medical treatment. I've gone through it, quadruple bypass in 1997, one heart attack since then. Two TIA's (mini strokes) congestive heart and kidney failure plus Type 2 diabetes for many years. Glory to God I'm still here at 75. He can do the same for you. God Bless, Les
