i have been low on pen kits so i have been making blanks. i have a few PR on the left. the rest are a mix of (not in order) big leaf maple burl, spalted maple, birds eye maple, claro walnut and cherry that have all been cast in PR to fill knots and voids. then there are the random segmented blanks. kinda cool as how the random segmented blanks use near 100% of the wood you put in them. i kept glueing the scraps together to get more blanks. i ended up with about a square inch of waste. i really cant wait to see how they all turn out.
