Arrived safe and sound after 26 hours in the air and in airports.

There were major headwinds in the normal flight path going to Tokyo, so we flew through Canada, North of Alaska (Over the Arctic Ocean), and back down over Eastern Siberia and made Tokyo on time.

Glad to hear, er, read that you arrived OK. Hope your arms are not to tired from all that flapping. Headwinds are a bit of a PITA aren't they! Have fun doing whatever ...

My son just returned from a visit there, job hunting in the Navy. He loved it. Beautiful place. Unfortunately, for him to get assigned there someone else stationed there has to leave and no one wants to leave. Fact a lot retire from there and stay there.
