How would you finish a mixed wood / corian piece?

I'm building the penn state yoyo & spinning top kits and combined corian with birch on one of the kits. I then made a procedural mistake in sanding the birch prior to polishing the corian. After starting the corian polishing, I noticed that the wood rim became wet. After final polish, I'll need to re-sand the wood pieces and began to wonder what type of finish would work with the corian.

Thank you for taking time to review and I appreciate your feedback.

Yup. GluBoost CA.
Ok, GluBoost it will be. I've haven't used it before so after checking out gluboost.com, I'm over whelmed with the verity. Which version is recommended? Would the "Fill n' Finish" be better than the "Master Glu Thin" for use on a toy?
