Bruce when I open the PDF, they open in Internet Explorer with URL. WHich one are you trying to post.

Bruce if you tell me which one you want I'll post the URL for you.

I'm running Inernet Explorer 8 so I don't know if this this the same for you or not. In IE8 you can go under the "View" drop down and select "toolbars". There you can check and ucheck differnt bars. See if the command bar is checked in your settings.

Bruce, view the file in the library (don't download), copy the url from the browser window, open a new forum message posting window, choose the insert url link, paste the url you copied, type your "Look Here" text in place of the stuff that is not inside the square brackets []

Here is the URL. Just put the "http:" back in front.

Sorry just a test for myself.

Lin.

Lin where are you getting the URL to insert the link. I click on the link above or go directly to the library and click on any PDF and it opens in Adobe not an I.E. browser.

Here is a screen shot of this page...my I.E. browser

And this is the PDF that opens for me

Go to the library page and navigate to the desired article. Instead of left-clicking to open the link, right-click and select "Copy shortcut" from the popup menu. Then go to the post you are writing and paste it into the [url] tag. You can paste either by pressing <ctrl-v> or by right-clicking and selecting "Paste".

I hope that helps,
