I thought this might be a fun thread. I just shot a picture of my current inventory (the sellables ) to post on Facebook. Now I don't inventory a lot because when ever I show someone a pen they start with the "can you make that one in blue, or that one in a fountain Pen," etc. So my pens are mostly just to show people what I can do.

So it got me thinking. Some of you sell and give away pens as fast as you make them. And some of you that do shows have hundreds. I currently have 30 on hand. (not including my treasured pith pens)

So how many do you have? Feel free to add a picture if you have one handy. And remember. This is what you have right now.

Somewhere between 600-700 in my collection. The photos are at a woodworking show for our Guild. I had about 350 there. Jim S

I have around 50 pens in my inventory. I definitely want have more pens now that I have more free time. I wish I could come close to at least 100 pens a few months from now.

I've got about 120 ready to go. I'm trying to move at least a third of those before making more of what I like. So for now, it's to making customs and my other turning "commitment."

We keep 1000-1500 in inventory most of the time so we can do two shows at the same time.

Right now inventory is around 1400 after selling nearly 200 over the past two weekends. On the weeks that I stay home and don't attend shows, I can make more pens that are sold. When I go along to shows our inventory dwindles.

Around 250. My wife does the casting and is way ahead of my ability to turn and finish. We are ready for the holiday shows.

Back when I was on the show circuit, I would travel with anywhere from 300 to 1200 according to how many shows I was going to do before returning home.

Never Enough !

I try to keep 75-100 ready for sale. Right now 60.

Right now have 40 in shops on consignment.

Always 10-15 in various stages in the shop.

John

I'm down to 75 in inventory but normally keep it up over 100.

I've been painting the house all summer and up til now, so Pen production has been on hold until I finish.
