Well thanks everyone that wished me a happy B-day its nice to see so many people take time to do so.Well my B-day was yesterday(the big 34,with I hope another 60-70 in front of me)and I went with my girlfriend to the Detroit Opera House to see David Gray acoustic.Let me tell you what a fantastic show he puts on and you can see the passion he has for his songs/music.Its always nice to see anyone with a passion for anything creative that gets my creative juices flowing. This was the second time in about 6 months I had seen him the first was at a large venue with Ray LaMontage(another must see)and he was great then as well.I recommend anyone that like David Gray even a little to go see him he is really good live he doesn't need a bunch of studio junk to help his voice,he oozes talent. Thanks again everyone(oh and my girlfriend for getting us the tickets),Victor

Victor, glad you had a great birthday!
Ray LaMontage is a Maine guy. According to the story I heard he was listening to WKIT(the station I listen to) owned by Steven King, when they played Steven Stills song "Tree top flyer". It was then he decided to quit his job in a shoe factory (?) and pursue music. Fortunately for us that is one product that we still get "home grown"!

Congratulations Victor. Another B-day is a great accomplishment. I am sorry that I missed it, especially the concert. It sounds like you had a really great time. So here goes, since you like music, I will NOT sing, just a wish, Happy Birthday and many more.
Charles
