Who would think that southern Ohio would have 6 straight days at 94+ with humidity so high that the air drips. Even showers do not cool off just makes it into a sauna. Finally today 90 and a little breeze.

Now THAT's how to enjoy a summer! I'm trying to talk my wife into taking the RV up between Sequim and Port Angeles for a month to cool off. If you see a fifth wheel with Texas plates and a Jet Mini lathe in the bed of the truck passing by, it's us![:D]

After 4 days of 105 and 70% humidity, it was 87 for a high here today in NC with cloudy skies and just over 3" of rain in last 48 hours.............whew what a nice break.

Well if you do, you'll have to look me up. :)

Well it was a nice 102 in my living room yesterday afternoon with every fan in the house on and the doors & windows open. The R2D2 air unit was back in the bedroom area trying its best to get into the middle 80's.

Now after an hour of rain, the morning has cooled down nicely. It is cooler on the front porch than in the said same living room.

It was cooler when I was in San Antonio week before last than it was here last week... upper 90's w/Houston level humidity (65 - 80%). Sheesh! And my bones are telling me that this winter is gonna be awful!

Last week it was consistently around 100 with near 100% humidity. Heat index was often 120-125 in the shade - and I was working out in the sun during that [:D]

By the way, I wouldn't recommend working in that weather unless you absolutely have to... Your body loses water faster than you can absorb it back.
