Slimlines are endlessly modifiable. Some ideas;
Grain matched finial.
Celtic knot. There is a post showing a great example.
Longwood. Same post.
Sweeping curves.
Custom wood center bands.
Hunter Pens I make for deer hunters. Shell casing and an antler tip.
and the list goes on.......

I am very new in my pen turning journey so my experience with this is minimal.

What little I have done is single tube for click models as well as some basic segmenting. One of my favorites (and one which I have had multiple requests for since making) is adding some crushed opal like used in ring turning. Basically turning a very small ring. It uses very little material but adds a distinct pop.

I tend to shy away from anything that adds bulk to the pen, as the entire point of the slimline is to maintain a smaller diameter profile.

I find the best way to make $ with slimlines is to make a theme with them, for example this is a Harry Potter house themed set I did, matching the kits metal to the blanks/houses, made 2 of each and after posting online I was sold out in 4 hours for $100 each.
