How do you finish....

Ok - I am getting ready to turn my first mixed blank - meaning it has ziricote and alumilite. I don't put CA on acrylics etc but I do wood. Since a mixed blank has both exposed how do you finish?

I know that sounds simplistic but all you need to do is CA the whole thing just like it was wood and it will look fantastic.
