how do I use this vacuum clamping kit?

hi, A while back I splurged on a vacuum kit, I finally got around needing it for a small veneering project, but as I open the box, I find no instructions!
this kit is supposed to run off my compressor, it comes with what you see in the picture plus a big PVC bag (and the black hose you see). no gauge of any kind either.
the bag has one "spigot" which is actually the same kind you find on small backyard swimming pools...
and where do I plug what, in that blue thingy?

most important: what shouldn't I do?
I have read here and there about vacuum pressing, but come the time to actually do it, I realize I don't know much about it.
PS I was planning to use either yellow glue or titlebond II.

I cannot see the picture -- but suspect there is a venturi style box that connects air pressure from your compressor to produce a vacuum at another port. Look for logos near the connections.

What is the brand -- I have one of those for vacuum on the lathe, but was given a vacuum pump. Can dig mine out if need be.

His "Project V2" is Venturi/compressor-based and maybe you can get enough from his build instructions to get your system running.

I've read several veneering posts on other forums where folks are happy with yellow wwing glue -- however, I use Joe's Better Bond glue for veneering projects and very happy with it:

It sound like your kit is not for a lathe, but rather a vacuum set up for doing veneer work. They are two different things. Which one do you have? If you know the brand you can probably find a manual on the internet.
