How do I Set up a website?

I finally found a name that wasn't taken. Where can I get a decent webpage? I just want to test drive it first. I already gave cards without website to friends and coworkers. I wanted to post corian colors and pen kits that I have done. This will give them an idea of what is avalable out there. I assume I need a business license?

There are number of sites where you can get some free help with a website... I use the Yahoo Sitebuilder myself... was pretty easy.

We also have a couple of guys here that are pros as this stuff... they might be willing to help for a small fee... one of them should chime in here shortly.

I used Google Sites for my free web site and highly recommend it. It's easy to use with lots of nice templates available if you want. It also allows you to modify the underlying page code if you want to do specialized custom stuff (add PayPal etc.). They also have a free Google Analytics that will track various visitor info to your site. You can see how many people visit each day, where they came from, etc.

Do some searching. There are lots of free website templates available with instructions on how add info and images. Many hosting companies offer free templates with hosting.

I was going to offer a "build your own pen" option. The customer could choose type of corian/wood, pen kit, cilp. My question: Would I be able to offer pen clips I purchased from other vendors?
