Sorry if this isn't the correct place to put this, but it seemed like the most logical place.

This brings up a suggestion, what about the creation of a forum where members could post deals that they find on the net? Looking over the Market Place section, none of the current forums seem to fit.

I think the better deal is the Nova Midi with 2 sets of jaws for $89.90. (CSUSA).
I have both the Nova Midis and the G3. My Midis have less runout than G3 and is much easier to "chuck up" by using the lathe's index lock. This is just an opinion, and many here like the "key" fastening mechanisms on chucks.

Be careful though, the thing that makes the Midi smoother (no threaded insert) means that it will only work with lathe's with 1 x8" head screws.
