Home made duplicator

Being quite new to turning, I was reading the thread on the router lathe and got to wandering - has anyone ever made their own duplicator?

I was thinking about getting my AutoCAD fired up and desiging my own, but I thought maybe someone has made one that they would like to share.

Now I know there are those opposed to duplicators, so I am looking for an answer to the question instead of lots of editorials on why not to use one.

I have not done this but thought it might help. I saw an article once of Don Derry's version but can't remember where.
