I just picked up one of these at Lowes for $79.99(and I got 10% knocked off for a taped up box) not sure they are at every store but you may want to look into it.I have liked all my hitachi stuff so far but don't own much buy them.Good luck,Victor

I paid that for mine about a year ago. Guess different areas are priced different. I have had no problems with mine so far. I do wish it had a tad more power though as it seems to bog down easily. Maybe it is just me pressing to hard.

That HF one is *not* one of the gems. It's functional, but only just. I have one. Had to true the disk plate, mine was horribly warped. The bearings are noisy, and the switch died 3 months after buying it.

I'd trust the Hitachi one long before I'd buy that HF one again.
