Every night I notice something like . . . . Members: 3 ; Guests: 48

During the day the numbers are different, but in a similar ratio.

The pens that @magpens (Mal) makes come from trees. For every tree that Mal turns into pens, there were thousands of seeds on the ground that washed away, dried up, got eaten by a bird, or never geminated.

Penturners.org guests are like seeds in nature. You never know which few of them will germinate and grow into great pen turners.

Nice thoughts, there, penicillin !! . . I also make pens out of synthetic materials and metals. . . but I guess that's beside the point .

Point is . . . this is a great place to socialize, and make friends, AND learn . . . it is THE "social media" site for pen turners . .

. . . both career-oriented and casual.

There's NO REASON TO NOT JOIN, and MANY GOOD REASONS TO DO SO !!!!!

Mal Jeff can confirm but many of those guests are bots from search engines etc are snooping and collecting data. It's one of the ways you see targeted advertisements when you open pages on some sites or even the search engine you use to look up stuff. They will never join. 😉

And . . . you may have explained the reason I recently got many unexpected " Happy Birthday, Mal ! " emails.

I certainly an not encouraging "bots" to join us !!!! :rolleyes: o_O :rolleyes: . . . . Just want the "flesh and blood" turners !!!!! :D :D :D
 
Facebook was blabbing about your birthday yesterday. Mind you it was saying you were 56? I didn't bother since I thought you stopped appreciating them. It's a biggie after all. 😖🤭
