Hello,
My name is Peter and I live in the UK. I have recently purchased a lathe and have quickly got into pens and other small items. My partner works with glass and the first thing I noticed is the speed of things on the lathe. It takes hours, even days, for her to produce a piece were it can take a fraction of the time for me to make something on the lathe.
I like working with different materials and have used wood, Corian and Acrylic. Have also experimented with laminating different materials, which was interesting to turn.
When I get more confidence I'll post pictures of my pens.
