Hi every one I'm a new member here and I have yet to turn a pen, I'm in need of a manufacturer that has a pen assembly that will adapt to an old Craftsman lath.
If anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate pointing me in the right direction.
I also have cut up some Manzaneta blanks for my first project if any one needs some let me no I'll sell them for $5.00 + shipping

Thanks yall

Bret, welcome to IAP. Be sure and check out the Library link right top of the homepage. There you will find a very good bit of information on all types of [en related things.
Do you have any idea of the taper needed for your lathe? do you have the manual? If the answer here is no, is the model and serial number still readable on your lathe? If the numbers are available, Sears may have the information needed to come up with a mandrel or contace Johnnycnc for 60 degree live and dead centers for your lathe with some bushings to turn between centers. There are all kinds of ways to turn pens.
