Hi everyone,
I've been reading this site for a while, but just now joined. Thanks for all the tips and advice! I also have a photo of my first set of "real" pens (I made a few practice ones first, but they don't count.)

Very nice, Collin. I'll bet the real "first" was a pretty decent one as well.

Welcome to the addiction.

Welcome Collin. You have some fine pens there.

As a welcome I am including a link to a PDF file that goes over many aspects of pen turning from finish - to pens - to tools - to methods etc. It is not in detail but a good overview for pen turning. Hope it helps.

Also included below is a link to a new post that gives some information that people wished they had known earlier in pen turning. Some good information by those that make pens.
