Hey all I just got my first lathe. Its a Nova 1624 and just recently got my first set of tools and chucks and all that jazz with the idea of turning briar pipes and bowls and such and then I found this place. Now i just ordered a pen mandrel and some antler for turning some pens and some shaving kits.

I'm very happy to meet you all and am so excited to turn fountain pens as I collect them. I've spent the last week pouring over the forums here and my excitement at seeing what you all have been doing has only been building and building! Thanks for having me :biggrin:
