Sorry gents but my photo skills are uhhhhh BAD!!!!!
However I need to build a quick light box to assist me.

For now here is a buckeye burl that I did on a Canadiana.

Let me know what you think. I need to make sure I am heading in the right direction.

Hi Rob; Not that bad really. Just a little more light req'd. Back that pen away a little, so you get a bit of a border around it.

However I need to build a quick light box to assist me.

Highly over-rated in my opinion!

For now here is a buckeye burl that I did on a Canadiana.

Now I get to nit-pick: take price tag off, nice pose, although I like to see the clip up to show off the bling.

The barrel is somewhat fat to my liking, but that's personal preference. The finish is showing off the burl nicely. I'd have to say it looks like you are going in the right direction. I took a while to get to Canadianas.

I see you are registered in the MI IAP chapter. Something wrong with our Ontario Chapter?:question:I think you can belong to both!
