Seems like every time I turn around this week there is a BIG bill. Two weeks ago a 500 dollar car repair bill to fix tie rods and something else that was making crazy amounts of noise. This week an 1800 dollar car bill for the same car, plus two new tires. These aren't your normal mini van tires either. Chevy decided to put low profile wheels on the Uplander and they cost a &^%$ load more than regular tires.
Everything was needed, and if all of this had happened over time I probably would not have noticed but in one week-back shocks, front struts, two wheel bearings (the ones with sensors that cost an arm and a leg), a third bearing that was thank god under warranty, and alignment. The tires were moccasins too. Considering this is the first time any of these things have needed looking at in over 135,000 miles I can't complain about quality but my wallet will be very sore for a while.
Big accountant bill (my fault I think) is the only bill that makes no sense.
Some days your the bat, some the ball. I feel like I have been sent out of the park.
Oh well tomorrow is another day
It is funny, I can fix most things on a boat. I will complain about it but can fix it. For some reason when it comes to the wife's mini van
