Hemlock Cone Dark Green Baron Gun Metal

Turned this last night. I love Mark Detrick's Hemlock cone blanks.

I do use several heavy coats of medium CA to finish.

The picture file name says Jr Gent, but is definitely a Baron.

The pen looks great Tony. And if it is anything like my pens, I suspect it looks a lot better in person (and it looks MARVELOUS in the pic).

This is the first time i did not. I did paint the tubes a light green though. Hard to tell if it was necessary... I don't know if painting the barrels for these blanks is ever necessary, but i don't want to find out the hard way.:biggrin:

BTW, you still have the only pen I've (more or less) successfully finished with my Hemlock blanks (last Atrax ended in disaster).
