Help with Jet Mini Lathe Spur Drive *FIXED*

Hello - I've recently purchased a Jet Mini Lathe (used from the classroom at Woodcraft) and I'm trying to get the center "point" out of the spur drive. Jettools web site is not responding so I was hoping someone could tell me it this is a friction fit or is the point threaded?

Problem solved - It was a taper fit, just VERY tight. I used a torch to heat the head and a awl through the hole behind the center.
