help to identify this wood

This blank was in a box of blanks given to me by a friend. Most blanks were labeled but this one was not.
I am trying to keep a list of the different types of wood I have worked with, so please help me identify this wood. Thank you

I can't really tell from the pic. Could you post a little bit bigger one? Also, what does the end grain look like?

Just ound out, it is bocote, thank you anyway
