Hi All,

I have two trees that I need to have removed before the screw up my sewer lines and drive way (already screwed up the sprinklers). One tree is small and scraggly and the other is about 2 stores tall. From my understanding these two trees are ornamental pears.

Before I have the tree people come and take them down, I was wondering if anyone with a chain saw would like to help me cut down the trees in exchange for the majority of the wood.

If you are interested PM me and I can send you the address so you may view the street view of the two trees.

Thanks,
Troy

You might try looking for local pen turning clubs online and see if any of them would like to help - often there are a group of "wood rats" in the clubs that look for these types of things and may be willing to help.

Good Luck!

ornamental pear can be very pretty wood. If I was closer I would help.

ME TOO!

What Kay said - that big tree should have lots of nice wood in it. You could also try posting on Craigslist if you don't find someone in a local woodworking club who is interested.
