Hi to all. Avid turner, but not pens. I just ordered some civil war pens, just because I thought they were cool. I know my way around a lathe, but any advice on pens would be helpful.

Welcome from the mitten...Churchill...where to start. be sure to organize the parts when assembling. screw in the body coupler in the cap, line up the grain, press it in a bit, unscrew it then press it home, to assure grain match. be sure all the center band parts are in the proper order.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Thinking of turning a Churchill pen next, any comment or thoughts.
