Hi all....PMS here, new to this forum and pen turning. I've been turning pens for about a month now (just in time for Christmas!) Lessons learned: wear rubber gloves while doing ca finish and purchasing pen blanks is habit forming. P1010598-2.jpg

Hello PMS (are you sure you want to be called that ?) !! - Welcome to IAP !!

When you want to "switch up" from doing slimlines, I would suggest you try the PSI 30 Caliber Bolt Action pen kit ... it is probably much easier and certainly more fun !

Sounds like you are already aware of the dangers of this obsession.

Dangers, what dangers??? Welcome to the asylum !

It's merely an easy method of ensuring all Christmas gifts to you are of a useful nature ! Just make sure you mark the pages with highlighter as to " interesting" , " must try this one " ," possible gift for ....." is another good line.

I refer to this as "inspirational thinking" or"gift guidance", it doesn't ALWAYS work but often helps.....
