Hello from the UK

Hi

I have been turning since November 2011 and it has become my passion. I have only recently turned 2 pens on a 1 day course, one was acrylic and the other was purpleheart. I am gearing up to turn more pens and hopefully cast my own blanks.

I have been looking around the forum and there is a wealth of info, which I hope to take in and improve my penturning.

Thank you to everyone for the welcome, I have already learnt so much from reading lots of PDFs.

I can't make any pens at the moment as I only have a bowl lathe, but will be getting a mini lathe after I come back from holiday next month. I look forward to joining in the forum and getting to know people.

Perhaps not, but I have the need for a tailstock for other turning and I don't have space for a larger lathe.
