Hi,

My name is Jeff and my wife and I own a small hotel where the rooms are in train box cars. She has been a crafter all her life but I never really found anything that interested me until very recently. Just over a month ago I started turning pens. I was spending too much time in my office and on my computer so I started watching YouTube videos on different crafts and here I am a month later and have turned 2 dozen pens, half a dozen kids wands and some letter openers, At this point I am just selling my pens with my wife's crafts is a small gift shop area in our lobby of the hotel I still have a lot to learn but I am enjoying spending a couple of hours most days in my shop.

Jeff, glad you found us. Love to see some of your pens and also you can show some of the wife's work here too. As you continue down the pen making path I am sure you will come up with questions so ask away. I am sure someone will be able to help. So have some fun and good luck with sales.

Welcome Jeff. The North Shore has been my wife's happy place since the very first time we visited many years ago. We try to get up that way every two or three years which isn't nearly enough in my opinion and I'm sure my bride would agree. Your hotel looks very unique and with my wife's love of riding the train I can foresee us staying with you in the future.

next time you upgrade / refit , use the timber to make "bespoke pens to remind you of your stay ". They did it with the timbers from HMS Victory here in uk
