Hello everybody. I'm a weekend woodworker with a small but fairly well equipped home shop. I'm just now getting into turning, and already have my wife and 15 year old daughter jumping on the bandwagon. I bought my Laguna midi lathe less than a month ago after taking a pen turning class with my daughter at my local Rockler. After we got our lathe set up at home, my daughter taught my wife how to turn pens, and now we've each made several wood pens and a couple acrylic pens. We plan on doing other stuff too. I've turned a bowl and an ice cream scoop handle. Looking to use a lot of my hardwood cutoffs from other projects to make various things on the lathe. I look forward to meeting some of you on the forum!
