New to turning, I've been having fun making rug hooking tools for my wife and her friends, and dip pens for myself. I'd like to offer the dip pens for sale but without the proper metal ferrules to hold the nibs, each pen must have just the right size hole for each nib which is not satisfactory. The ferrules available through Amazon are not satisfactory. Does anyone know a source for quality dip pen ferrules?

Welcome to IAP, Dan. I can't help you with the dip pen ferrules, but some who post after me may be able to help. IF you don't get any help here (in the introductions) - then post that question under "Pen Turning" with the title something like "Need help with Dip Pen Ferrules". That will get you some help.

Believe it or not my first pen sale was for a series of dip pens about 20 years ago. I found out I didn't like the sales as I put too much pressure on myself and that took the joy out of it for me. Hope you find the answer and when you do, post some picts of your work. Thanks for joining IAP!

Welcome to the forum.
I know this is a bit of a cop out answer but I'm on the phone so don't have access to my bookmarks but do a search because the question comes up every year or two and the answer is there.
