Hi, its great to be here. Several friends have told me about IAP and so I thought I'd like to be apart of you all. I've been in woodworking / turning awhile but really just on and off. Recently been back on with turning some pens and wanting to learn more, especially images on tubes cast in PR. Anyway thanks for having me, I can see there are a lot of resources to check out.

Hi, I am from Melbourne in Australia and have been turning pens for a little while. I discovered acrylics and then moved on to casting my own blanks. I decorate the brass tubes with images created in Microsoft Publisher. I am interested in talking with others trying out this method and the techniques they are using.
This looks like a great site to further develop ideas and to see what others around the world are doing with this engrossing hobby.
