Following the loss of my wife Melissa to cancer during 1997, I purchased a Jet wood lathe and began doing some very basic wood turning to simply pass the time. Turning out many kitted pens up until 2020 when I began working with various exotic woods, Ebonite and Aluminite Resin in an attempt to design and fabricate a "Bespoke" pen. I had the guts to start my "kit less" journey thanks to the many informative and inspirational threads found here at the IAP site! Thank you to everyone at IAP for getting me started in this wonderful hobby, and for continually sharing your knowledge with me... With kindest regards, Gennaro
