My name is Glenn and my new business is Glenn's Pens, original, right! I am new to turning and hope to learn a lot from the members of the Association.

As a new business owner, I hope to sell at craft fairs and other locations. I applied and received my EIN and business permit in California. I would appreciate any ideas in how to run my business and manage the books.

Can't help you with your business questions. I'm up to my eyeballs just making pens to complete orders for friends and family and I haven't taken the time to get the business end running yet. Good luck!
 
Welcome from western New York. Your business question is a very open one. You can start by using a spreadsheet to track all expenses and all sales. Keep all receipts, not matter how small the amount.
