Well folks after a year of depression and trying to get over it I'm now bound for the operating theatre to have a double bypass this Monday,17th.
It's enough to get a man down.:( But I promise to be back in the new year to launch myself afresh. I will actually have the energy and the inclination to do some turning.[:p]

Merry Christmas all and all the best for 2008.:):)[:X]

Get you chin up R2. I had quadruple bypass heart surgery on Friday, March 24, 2006 at 7:30. Spent Saturday in level 1 ICU and Sunday and part of Monday in step down ICU. Got home Monday about 2:30 three days after quadtruple surgery.

I feel great so look forward to better days ahead.

Thoughts and prayers will be with you. Keep your head up. I'm sure you'll come through with flying colors and be back better than every. We look forward to your return. Take it easy and follow the doctor's instructions. While no surgery is routine, this gets easier all the time. A doctor at ECU has a robotic method that is non-invasive now.

Arthur, we will keep you in our thoughts. I had major lung surgery 27 Dec 2005, and it feels great to breathe without effort! I hope for the same improvement for you!!

So, so hard to have this type of thing going on during the holidays. Arthur, I know all will go well so you just do what the Dr. say and recover quickly. Blessings to you and your family!

Our prayers will be with you and your surgery staff. Have a Merry Christmas recuperating and do not overdo it.

Mike

R2 good luck and good health, prayers are with you for a speedy recovery. Just follow the doctors instructions and all will be ok. I had this done twice. The trick is dont over do it. [:D]

Good luck Arthur, you will be in my thoughts and prayers too, I know how you are feeling when suffering depression, I have suffered it for 7 years since my accident.
Keep your chin up we are all rooting for ya![;)][:)]

Arthur

I had a valve repaired 9 years ago, which I fought getting done for a couple years finally the doctor said now or die.
You will not beleive how good your going to feel after you recover.
Good luck
Jack

Good luck. i am facing the same thing this spring. Have had blockages for years with collateral blood flow alleviating the pains. Last spring, found a new spot. Was going to do it then, but other family events intervened. So-- this spring for sure. Surgeons are very competent these days. Keep smiling!
Ron
