Well, the movers are coming in a couple days and we are about lose our internet connection so we can head off to Denver. I haven't been around here much; work was truly getting in the way. Now, a couple days off and we head west.
Not sure which road we will take, but if your close we may have to stop by and say HOWDY... :eek:
Nice to put faces with names.
We will be in temporary housing when we arrive in Lakewood, CO, looking for a place. Plan on renting for a while. Wood shop is going into storage for now. :frown: :frown: Hopefully not to long.
 
Denver is a nice place to live. Depending on your job situation, houses east of Colorado boulevard and north of 72nd are cheaper and larger than their counter parts which are west of I25. Just for example I checked out a Richmond community last week. All the communities around have the same basic houses. A brand new house at 128th and Quebec which is about 45 blocks east of I25 ~2500 finished sq ft + 1000 Sq ft basement was about 270ish. The same house located at about 96th and highway 85, which is approximately 30 blocks east and south of Quebec & 128th was 235ish. Last week there was a house which had a 6 car garage. Essentially a normal 2 car and then an add on which was a 2 car tandem. The tandem would make a really nice shop. I think it was priced around 374,000. It was located between 120th and 136th on Sheridan Blvd, (about 25 blocks west of I25). It was on the west side of the street. I think I have the flier, I can take a picture of it and email it to you if you want. By the way Lakewood is about starts at about 50th avenue and goes south to about 6th or so. It goes from about Kipling to Federal (west to east). Denver is also in that area, but east of federal. Wheatridge is also in the area, a bit north and west though. Arvada is north of Wheatridge and Lakewood. Westminster is north and west of Arvada. Thornton goes from about 72nd and federal, East and north to 168th and Holly.
