Closer to 6-8months.

But I had a buddy that wanted to turn some pens (he's used my shop several times for this which is just fine). and I decided it was time to get back in the saddle again.

So since he had the mini tied up turning pens, I decided to turn a small candy dish on the other lathe. I had some really dry wood, but for the life of me I can't remember what it is.

Comments and critiques are as always welcome.

This wood was super dry and soaked up the first coat of Danish Oil like a sponge. I'll put a couple more coats on and let it cure then buff it out.

Considering I ended up using one of your tools, since the gouges were having a tough time!!
