It warms the cockles of my wee heart to find no one picking on my kin. Thank ye all.

According to the stories my maternal Grand Mother tole my, they have done little 'artistic freedom' with the story. It is a sad state of affairs when the truth is so bad, there is no need to make it worse. Idiots on both sides and kin to both, according to her.

Have to DVR tonight's episode. Tomorrow is supposed to be hotter than today so I will need a lot of sleep. Glad to hear they did not take too many freedoms with the story. I will definitely be finding something to read.

Oh well. Only going to be 93 tomorrow. I was told it was going over a hundred. Still better get some sleep.

Come on down Mark only 109 here today, we can sit in the pool, drink cold beer and talk about wood!!! Or whatever comes to mind!

It was a great series. I thought it was well done, but I was wondering on it's accuracy..Kevin Costner is not always known for particapating in parts that are historically accurate, so according to Charles (CTubbs) it is not?

The research I have done there are differences, but not HUGE. Some things were changed for the movie. The problem is there are 3 sides to it. The Hatfields, The McCoys, and the truth (which historical data is not abundant). But yeah I got sucked into it.

They have it on History channel (I was told). They are also getting ready to sell the bluray.
