Here are five inlay cheese slicers finished today. They sat for three or four weeks begging to be sanded and finished - they got their wish today. I hear local stores are about to open up a bit more.

Like you Mark, I hate to sand until I see what the finished product turns out like. I've seen some Koa that just looked like nothing only to be sanded and have a great piece of work come out of it. I recently put some scales on a knife that at first just looked like junk. Finished sanding and did that wood pop, kept it for myself.
