kits to make highlighters, grease pencils or sharpies? I haven't come across any myself, but think these might be good "other items" at a sale.

Haven't tried them to see if they fit but Levenger has a fiber tip refill similar to the Flair pen that fits rollerballs.

Cross has a fibre tip.

PSI has magic lead that goes in the workshop pencil (will fit the artist sketch pencil). They say it write on glass , metal ec....

You could also peel a grease pencil and insert the lead into the shop pencil.
