Did anyone ever end up buying one of these?:

If so, what's the review, is it any good? With these new tools I bought, I'm wondering if I shouldn't pony up and get one. Can't afford the Tormec by a long ways, but I'd like to take care of my tool investment. I'm using my bench grinder right now, and while using a Wolverine type system gets them really sharp, I can't help but think that the slow speed water wheel will make the tool last a lot longer.

Thoughts?

Karl,
The boys and I bought one about a month ago, and it is fantastic. I got Tormek jigs to go with it and love the results I am getting. My tools were very sharp before, but now they are scary sharp.

That's about what I thought. I'm using a combination of an 8" grinder, Wolverine jigs with home made versions of the Wolverine system finished off with a Japanese water stone, and while my tools get so sharp they scare me, with the 8" wheel on my super thick P&N skew, I'm getting a hollow grind pattern which leaves me with out 15 degrees on the edge side and 45 degrees on the tang side, let alone the little burn marks on the blade from overheating the tool.

Sounds like I need to buy the Grizzly thing and pick up the jigs I need when i need them. :) Which ones to you use?@
