Got news that a friend of the family died from fumes of the furniture stripper he was using while in an enclosed space. He was fairly healthy and had only been in his shop for a little while working on it.

Sobering reminder to take those warnings stamped all over our stuff seriously. :/
 
Spot on Jon. A friend of ours in the States died froma full blown asthma attack brought about by mixing two proprietry drain cleaners inthe bath room so he could clear a cogged drain.[:0][:0]
Do we need a safety forum?

He could easily have created chlorine gas.

I am very sorry for both losses. Chemicals are dangerous, please follow directions and observe warnings.
 
That is hard, thanks for the reminder.

More than likely what caused the problemw as methelyne chloride. It can build up CO2 in your blood and cause a heart attack.

I spray finishes usually two days a week, sometimes all 5. You HAVE to be careful.
