You can buy a Delta compound miter for about the same money I got mine from Ballew Saw and Tool here in Springfield MO. It wont be a slider but unless you are cutting a lot of 2X12 its a waste and not that accurate. I used a 10" compounds in my woodworking business shop for 17 years and did not have anything else to cut with but a table saw. Sliders are had to keep in alignment even the expensive ones.

I have seen good reports on that saw in woodworking forums.
You do need to remember that it is from HF, You can't touch a slider for 3 times that price anywhere else.
If it were going to be used for a jobsite I would stay away.For home shop use I don't think it is a bad deal if you can live with the color.
BTW get the warranty.
It's cheap insurance.
I have a welder and a metal cutting portable saw from HF I use around the shop and I am a happy customer of HF.
