The fine folk from the upcoming Slimline Unlimted Bash Contest and The Turing Challenged Contest would like to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving (unless your Canadian. In that case Happy Belated Thanksgiving) While it is tradition to feast on Thanksgiving, I ask that you spare the turkeys running the Ballpoint Contest and the Youth Contest. Thank you.

Just being alive to post is a happy reason to give thanks !!! Happy Holidays to you and yours except those in Canada, where Thursday is just another work day. Jim S

Thanks, Derek.

And Happy Thanksgiving to all from the Puzzle Contest crew. In the spirit of the season, I promise nothing but easy puzzles this year.

I was going to add some smart a$$ remark but I figured since the BASH is still 3 months away, I would give "someone" a running head start so that hopefully "someone" might be able to keep up. Instead, in the spirit of making the competition fair, I'm going to wait awhile and am simply going to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, even the folks over at the Slimline and Turning Challenged planning team.
Additionally, for the BASH last year, we had an organizers meeting before and after and took some pictures that I thought would be fun to share with everyone.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone......~

Curt, there is an art to calling a chairperson a name and making everyone smile while doing it. Don't try to get into it with the guys who have been here longer........they just have to much pratice.

Now remember, they also have no new gimicks to pull. All they have is the tired, old, worn out stuff from the past 11 years.
It is going to be up to a guy like you to put something new and exciting into the Bash.

"The men who said the pen is mighter then the sword .... have never been up against automatic fire."

So, You're saying the other chairs are old and worn out?

As far as new, I am far from new, my birthday was a couple weeks ago and I don't feel new. Two surgeries this year and possible one to fix one of the others maybe this year or early next year. And it figures it was the oral surgery that isn't healing.

My strength is hitting below the belt stuff anyway. So who do I bribe to get the best prizes.
