My sister is a jr. high math teacher up in Little Rock and she throws a big part with her kids for Pi day. I think she's nuts - but apparently the kids enjoy it.

They see who can memorize the most numbers and somebody gets a prize and she makes a big Pi shaped cake for her kids.
