Be careful posting today if you have a PC. The internet will automatically charge your phone bill &10.00 for each post.

Remember it's April first.

Strangely enough, and this is true, as April first is the first day of the second quarter, this is the day that our company announces pay raises.

And yes, April Fool's day is a very appropriate day for this....

It's funny I got an e-mail from I A P wishing me a happy B/Day last night but I am not in todays B/Days. Anyway it is.

Lin.

best pranks I have seen were a drug testing memo that was left on all desks the night before April Fools telling people to report IMMEDIATELY to the conference room....lots of worried faces....another was an email reminding people that it was time to change the air in their tires, warm weather was coming so they needed to let out the cold air and replace with warm or they could have balance problems...and it worked!

My dad told of the story where they made the new guy on the ship go from the bridge to the back bottom of the ship to get the key from a specified person to be able to start it. Of course, that guy sent him to someone on another deck at a different part of the ship, and on it went.

I was stationed at Templehof Airport in Berlin stationed with the Air Force in the early 1970's and my supervisor sent me over to the next hangar for "Flight line"- I figured since they were the Air Force flight line was ROPE- Of course I was wrong. I am not sure if it was on the 1st of April or not but it was a good joke anyway.:biggrin:
