Hand poured blanks question

There are a lot of people here that pour their own blanks, and I have gotten some from a few different people. This got me wondering if you pour your own if you get others. I have noticed a difference between how different peoples turn out. I am not saying this one persons is better than the next, just different. I have had people that like one persons and not another but the next person is different.

So if you pour your own do you order other people's?

I pour my own and only buy what I can't make.
The castaway event is a great way to acquire a few blanks a year too.

I make alot of my blanks but I have bought and ordered blanks from Jonathon because his blanks are so intense in color and to me he is the master of that. I also buy feather blanks. I can.t do that. I have never done any snakeskin but that would be another blank I can not do so I would order that. Everyone can not be great at all things so that is why we turn to the pros.
