I'm in need of at least two Australian Hairy Oak pen blanks. Working an order and managed to mess the one I had left. Need soonest or would just order from George at Timberbits.

Hi Vic,
If #14 is OK with you and you are handy with a bandsaw, I suspect I got you covered. I have a block from George that I am perfectly happy to see used. It does have cracks that you will need to work around while cutting the blanks; or use some inlay material. You should easily get 4-6 blanks off of it. It is a live edge, but about 7" x 3" x 3". Id rather send the block and you can play with the grain you want. Should have some beautiful patterns.
Can be in the mail AM on the 26'th.
Looking at George's list I don't see it. I will look in my box of George wood if you can give me a number to look for.

Surprise, Surprise, Surprise! Was in the shower this morning and heard a truck come up the drive. The wife had ordered another 2 cords of firewood and figured it was him.
As I was getting out the wife came in wavy a box and saying "special delivery". Turns out the USPS was 2 days ahead of schedule.Your package got here early.
Thanks Mark![]()
