At about 10:30 am today I received a call from Txbob (Bob Swartzendruber) who is now staying about 25 miles from us wanting to know if Diane and I would like to have lunch with Bonny and him. Had a great visit and the catfish was great. Really enjoyed Bob and meeting his lovely wife Bonnie.

Yummy with pickled tomatoes, slaw, & hush puppies with Louisiana hot sauce, yep Cav you sure did miss a good-un.:biggrin:

When to come out to California I cook you a fish dinner. whether its the barbie or the oven. Stry-fried chopped shrimp Then lay in on a flounder. Roll the flounder into a baking pan with Souvigon Blanc. basing the fish every 5 minutes. @ 350. At the very end bass the fish with a honey- orange marmalade on the top and broil it until golden brown. Serve with steamed vegatables and the rest of the wine.
